I Am Somebody

I am somebody

I have a heart that beats loud

I get anxious when in a crowd

I have fears, just like you

Only mine are different than bugs and goo

I love certain things and hate others

And like you, I learnt from mothers

I am somebody

I'm important and I matter

I refuse to fall down the ladder

I will rise to the top

I will never stop

I am somebody
