I Am Somebody too

I miss the days when it was just us.

When we would have a blast all summer night long.

But then when you were with your friends everything changed.

You were someone different,

around your so called friends.

I was pushed aside until you needed me again.

You came back to me, just like the waves

hitting the beach over and over again.

I am somebody too.

Just like you are somebody.

They are somebody.

So treat me the same

and just be you.
