I Am a Strange Creature

I never knew what was going on

Inside my head

Until I started writing about it

Then my eyes began to see

Patterns

My poems were full of

Ideas that raged inside me

Repetition

Repetition

Repetition

I noticed that my mind

Says things

Over and

Over and

Over

And I finally understood

I began to see the world through

Another pair of glasses

Ones that were my real perscription

And now I dream about things

Write about things that I see, hear, and feel

Things that defy description

And yet

Maybe not

For here they are

Desecrating paper
