I am Shanyia, I am 17

The different child I am

The one who goes to school and….

Works and helps pay bills,

Buys things for the house,

And things we might need

And pays for school stuff senior year

Mother doesn’t work,

So I have to and go to school

I am strong

But, sometimes it get’s hard

Not knowing if you are going to come home without water or light or both

Not knowing what’s going to happen next
