I Am Strong

I am strong because I choose to be.

I am strong because even though I can't put down roots in any one place, I have my family who serve as my rock.

I am strong because despite everything and everyone around me constantly changing, I've stayed true to myself.

I am strong because I've had to learn how to be comfortable in new places.

I am strong because I have learned to be okay with leaving my friends behind, not knowing when, or even if, I'll see them again.

I am strong because I am currently attending my seventh school, and I once again had to start all over.

I am strong because I've learned to not care what others think of me; constantly being the new kid does that to you.

I am strong because rather than crying about having to always move, I find the positive parts of each new place.

I am strong because I've had to watch my dad go off to war not knowing if if would make it back.

I am strong because of the life I've grown up living.

I am strong, but I'm not just strong, I am Army Strong.
