I am Strong, I am Free

2 social service workers,

2 judges,

3 letters,

4 years,

4 recordings,

4 councliers

5 police officers,

This is what it took for my freedom.

I was weak,

I was small,

I was quiet,

I did not fight.

I was abused.

Mental.

Emotional.

I learned to fight,

I learned my voice,

I spoke up for what I wanted,

What I needed.

I showed the world what was happening.

I got myself free.

I am strong.

I am free.
