I am Suffering

I am suffering

in ways no one can see and

won’t say.

My heart  is crying

but my eyes are dry,

My mouth spits venom on his name but.

I feel sorry for him, I loved him.

He liked me.

I empathize his thoughts,

he listened to mine.

I cared about his pain,

he noticed mine.

I waited on him,

He rushed me.

Not rude, just clueless,

Blind to the love that was so powerful and deep

it filled my heart to the brink.

So what did I do

with the unrequited love?

I turn it to stone

and it built a wall

never letting another  soul in. Only watching,

Waiting for a soul

curious enough to try and climb it.

I hate the fact that I miss him,

He is ruining my thoughts indulging in the burning juice

Sleeping in daylight because

the night is too loud

he was a thief in the night

He stole a heart

never got caught,

he walked away

red handed.
