I Am a Sunflower

Fri, 10/30/2015 - 15:53 -- rnelson

Small…

Unstable,

With a stem of many wounds.

Small…

And fragile;

With rumors they presume.

Although small,

In a big world,

A blossom upon the prairie.

Although small,

 Bound of golden petals.

Reject reasons to be weary.

Although small,

I find the sunlight;

The warmth in every setting.

Although small,

I Am a Sunflower

With the Blessing of Forgetting.
