I am a Sunflower

I am a sunflower.

I shine bright and radiate joy to those around me.
I provide my seeds for other people to feed off of in order to better their lives.

I stand tall and proud amidst my surroundings.

I am a sunflower.

I am a sunflower.

When it gets cold and dark I don’t shine as bright.

I begin to shrivel into darker shades.

I lean over a little bit more, weakened by my atmosphere.

I am a sunflower.

I am a sunflower.

The darkness has overcome me.

My beautiful, bright petals are now just a dark, dead mess on the ground.

No one will care though, there are plenty of other sunflowers out there.

I am a sunflower.
