I am a Teacher

From a child’s eyes is how I am seen Knowledge, morals, and character is what they must glean. In all say and in all I do, To these highest ideals I must remain true. This profession is not for the weak And, in this job, no riches are to be found. It is in the growth of hearts and minds where treasures will abound. We will learn from each other each and every day And relationships will grow without say. Impacting a child’s life for this year and beyond Teacher and student: an unbreakable bond.
