I AM TEMPORARY

I am searching for adventure in every moment

I am enjoying every moment to its fullest

I want to travel the world 

And explore the oceans,

I am a student of life and my classroom is all around me

I am Asian and American 

My loves have four furry feet and purr on my lap,

I am insecure and doubt myself

I am positively sure of myself

I am the best friend you'll ever meet,

My family has my back

My friends are my world

I am laughter and smiles

I am heartache and struggles

I am stronger than I feel,

I am a swimmer and a runner

I am inspired by the world and concerned about its future

I scuba dive and in awe of the ocean world,

I am scared, shy, afraid and tired

I am strong, outspoken, adventurous and powerful

I am all these things and more,

I am ready to live my life

Wherever that may lead

I live to see the sunrise in the morning

And moonlight at night,

I may be short but my thoughts are big

I may wear glasses but I see past the obvious

I am temporary

I am my future.
