i am like them

The sky is expanding
and growing new gems,
and I, too, am ascending with them.
Stars burn and they wither
subject to cold air,
and I move, eyes open,
through words and stares.
I break and I reform;
I become a new thing,
I watch and I speak
I take and I bring.
I don't know what I look like,
I don't know how I sound,
I move just like them
but my gaze's not homebound.
I am still changing and growing and moving but then
I have no destination,
I don't think I end.
