I am Transcending

I am more than just me

More than what you see

I am a testament to faith

I am the wind in the air, moving trees with eaze.

I am the "whoo" from the owl on a winter's eve

all hear but none see.

I am the morning star,

lighting the darkest skies

I am a storyteller for those who can no longer speak

who voices were shot down at Wounded Knee, Tulsa, Birmingham

I am those four little girls

I am Sandra Bland

I am the night in the day

Not here to stay.
