I am ugly
It hurts, you know, when the world hates you,
it hurts.
I loved her, you know, but she didn't choose me.
She chose him,
she chose him over her family,
over me.
The world hates me now, and they always will,
because they say I am cruel, that I am ugly and horrid.
They say… that I am ugly.
She knew what would happen, what would happen to me.
She knew and chose power over a home, a crown over love,
over me.
I loved her, you know.
But he told her I wasn’t real family,
just a step-sister.
He told us to keep quiet,
so the people would love their new queen,
so they would pity her,
because her family
because I,
am ugly.
Now I am alone, and abhorred by all.
Now there isn't a person in the world that will look at me,
that will listen to me.
No one in the world that cares.
No one will ever tell me I matter.
Because… I am ugly, you know.
