I am.... an underdog

I was born with Cerebral Palsy

But don't think for a second the world is beyond me

Though 14 surgeries from the age of five

I have taken everything in stride

from the start I was intended to walk only with assistance

but now I am an athlete with potential for greatness

No matter what limitations are put upon me

I will meet them head on

And with sheer willpower at my side

I will make a difference with my pride

I am different

I am determined

I will succeed
