I Am Unfiltered
The veins wind their way down the petals of my thighs
the beauty of the earth is found in my beautiful brown eyes.
The feild sways with blades of grass down my arms
and the seagulls in my laugh never fail to charm.
My hips wind and shake and roll they are gorgeously wide, fat and full.
The trunk of a tree that's a thousand years old.
My hair is a nest for all monsters and pests. You bring a brush and I tell you to give it a rest.
Curly, voluminous and wild like the ocean
no magic here nor a potion.
This is what I look like unfiltered.
My togue strikes in venomous agitation
while my lips smooth any abject irritation.
My eyes roll back in contempt
while at the same time allow you to vent.
My arms are wide-open to soothe your soul or sometimes
I accidently push, prod, yank or pull.
I cry with tears of the universe. They are tears of pure empathy that shatter like glass
but mostly it's fear that makes them like wax.
They burn on the way out, molten and hot
they stiffen me and harden me till I turn to rock.
This is how I act unfiltered.
My voice is like thunder or so I've been told.
I speak loud and confidently with no breaks or holds.
My mind pours down down till it drips off my tongue and bubbles in my teeth.
I do not speak with intentions to preach.
I speak to inform with nothing but conviction and never scorn.
I am happy and free but the world these days has been troubling me.
I speak for those who have no voice.
I speak with the power that's been stolen without a choice.
This is how I speak unfiltered.
Courageous and strong
Yet childish and young
I am unfiltered
Independent and free
Yet I seek me
I am unfiltered
Empathetic and loving
Yet still bitter and selfish
I am unfiltered
Passionate
I am unfiltered
