I am Useful

I am useful For 12 years in the making I used my brain as a tool My parents did not ever have to force me to go to school Yet many talk behind my back like what am I doing this for Because I am useful College may drain more money than I can acquire But my decision will not change for no doubters I'm an African-American and it might be surprising to see someone with the appearance of mine actually learning I'm not different from anyone else so I must've been working I am useful Because I use my brain as a tool for my success College will help me further induce my brain to new knowledge I am me and and seek success for all but my success will come Because my brain will always be where it's been all along
