I Am... A Voice
I am a voice for those who can’t express
The pressure mounting, so much duress
When words cannot describe enough
A feeling so latent, it belittles us
Unjustly dreaming of perfection
But experience leads us in the right direction
Our mistakes will bind us with the past
And insecurities grow till' at last
We feel defeated and falter the truth
That we are still within our youth
With years to come, the futures bright
So say these words
Please recite
I love myself for all my splendor and what comes my way I shan’t surrender
