I am at war

I am happy, and I am strong. But I am weak, and I am broken. I am at war with myself. I want to believe, and I want to be religious. But I am confused, and have no faith. I am at war with myself. I am driven, and I want to succeed. But I lack initiative, and have no passion. I am at war with myself. I am independent, and I am apathetic. But I want someone to care, and need someone there. I am at war with myself. I think I know best, and believe I’m always right. But I know nothing, and have no answers. I am at war with myself. I want to go to college, and I want to make a difference. But I have no money, and I don’t know my purpose. I am at war with myself. I have all the potential, and I am smart. But that means nothing because I am at war with myself.
