I AM A-WAVE

For one to be a-wake,

they must also be powerful.

What could be more powerful than the ocean itself?

Sometimes i also say that "I am a-wave".

For I feel that this encapsulates the expression better.

Where exactly did the meanings reverse?

To say "I am awake" these days and mutter slothfully

or exclaim with an attitude of irritation.

Perhaps it is a slap to one's servile ignored nature to proclaim such a heresy...

and perhaps an insult to the real truth;

forever suspended within a "fragile" tragic moment.
