I Am... Well I Don't Know

Who am I?

Well god I don't know

am I my bad days

where the sadness overflows?

or am I the better days

when I start to fell alright?

and I think that I may

finally see the light

I think I am terrible

just awful and poor

a slap in the face

the slam of a door

but also a kiss

so soft and so sweet

the feeling of sand

between the toes on your feet

I guess I'm a lot

and never enough

but I'm here for myself

when life gets too rough

so i'll accept this mess

that I call me

and hope that one day

everyone will finally see
