I Am White

Just because i'm not like them, does not mean I do not understand. Just because i'm pale, does not mean my skin is not the same. Just because my brothers and sisters may discriminate, does not mean I will do the same. Just because I am part of the cruel, does not mean I am cruel myself. Just because I haven't had it rough, been beaten down, been told I am superior, does not mean I am. Just because I am a different as well, does not mean I want to face any discrimination. Just because I am taught through the past ways of my brothers and sisters, does that mean I am to act like them? Just because I am white, does it mean I have to feel hatred?
