I am Who I am
I do not define myself from how many barriers have appeared in my way.
Though I define myself from the strength I have found to find new roads.
I do not define myself from the amount of times I've been pushed down.
Though I define myself from how many times I've struggled back onto my feet.
I do not define myself from all of the displeasures I have met.
Though I define myself by the forgiveness I have seen to let myself begin again.
I do not define myself from the bullies of my past.
I define myself by my friends of today.
I do not define myself by my relationships.
But I define myself on how much I love and am willing to love once more.
I am not my past.
I am not what they say I am.
I am who I am.
