I Am Who I Hate The Most

I miss myself, Can't you see, This person you see now, Isn't really me. I'm drowning in shyness, Stuck in my shell, I can't remember, How to be myself. I'm dying on the inside, Smiling on the out, It's laughable how no one, Can figure it out. My hair across my face, I can't let you see, This person I am now, Is who I hate to be. So, I'll hide a little more, While you pass me by, I won't even bother, To ever ask why. Why you can't see it, That I'm not the same, I guess when you're not looking, You think nothing's changed. Now, I'll pack up my problems, Back in their little box, And hide them all away, Behind a metal lock.
