I Am A Wounded Girl
I am a wounded girl.
I thought I would always be happy through life.
I never thought love could hurt so much.
I never knew I could be so wrong.
Falling in love could not prepare me for the end.
I was not prepared for the anxiety, the deppression,
and worst of all the massive hole.
My heart was a shriveled salamander with no water.
My soul ripped out with a force more powerful than an F5 tornado,
more powerful than a bolt of lightening hitting twenty times.
My organs are an alien living inside me,
eating slowley from the inside out.
But through all the pain......peace.
I know......
And now I'm stronger.
I am who I am today because of people who support me,
love me, cherish me, and won't ever leave me.
I am who I am today because my family taught me to be strong,
to stand up for my beliefs, and most importantly,
to have the strongest faith in God.
I have made my mistakes and can make up for them,
but now I just know that I can't dwell on the past.
Not the horrible part
because that will never matter again.
I am strong, brave, good.
I am who I am.
I know that I can make a difference.
I know that if I choose I can make myself better.
I know that my past has made me humble, kind, and strong.
I am not who I thought I was going to be.
The me of the past would be a little disapointed.
I have done things that I never thought I would do
I have impacted people in both positive and negative ways...
and I can live with that.
I am happy with who I am,
and I would never change anything.
