I am You

In that dark cold corner When friends leaves and You are left alone I will be there When dark and selfish thoughts Flew your mind Like mighty wind that Comes before a heavy rain Whenever you say no to righteousness It comes like a mighty blow to my tender Chest When your days are like dark clouds And your thoughts corrupt I am there I am you I am that little voice That whispers no to your ears I am your conscience Though you shut your ears to my very words I did my best for you to hear I am your shadow That stays with you when everyone leaves But you dwell too much in the dark So you no longer see me I don't like gossip But I must tell you this Your future is bright I have seen it Come to the light Take care of me Listen to my tiny voice Listen to my little whisper Listen to my words My whispers Whispers from christ to You #dorosays
