I am Yours

When I am feeling stuck

When I am out of luck

That's when I look up to these hopeful skies,

Then I am assured that you are on my side.

When I am being blessed,

When you give me the very best,

That is when I don't understand why you love me,

And always take me as I am.

When I just want to cry,

When no one even tries,

I know you listen to my words,

I may not see you but I know my voice is heard.

You are great and powerful and strong and grand,

I don't deserve to hold your hand,

But you hold mine.

Everyday,

All the time,

I am yours.
