I Am....Beautiful

I Am Beautiful.

Don't try to tell me I'm not

I am in a battle that is forever being fought

People always telling me "Your ugly, your trash."

Hatred coming because of some tongue-lash

But I'm not listening anymore

I have long since closed those doors

I Am Beautiful.

I wear my scars on my wrist now with pride

Becuase I am one of the few who survived

You can say anything cruel

But as soon as you say I'm not beautiful

Well then you have something big comin' your way

I Am Beautiful.

Try to convince me otherwise

Because I stopped listening to those lies

I am beautiful inside and out

I can say this without a doubt

I'm listening to myself now

I Am Beautiful.
