I am...me
From birth to present,
How I have changed,
For no life is constant,
And I have aged,
First a baby,
Innocent and new,
Identity: A twin boy,
And then I grew,
A toddler would follow,
Young and nieve,
Identity: Explorer,
With a smile to decieve,
Grown into a child,
Clever with a smile,
Identity: Elementary student,
Who's imagination would last a while,
More complex by middle school,
Uncertain and confused,
Identities: Runner, Black belt, friend, gay?
Some truths he refused,
High school freshman year,
I am... I know not,
Identities: Runner, smart, gay (only to me),
Time to thicken the plot,
The middle of senior year,
Not sure of what's next,
Identities: Friend, runner, boyfriend, math tutor, gay, twin
But the future has me perplexed,
Here I am now,
In college at RIT,
Identities: Friend, runner, ex, ChemE student, nerd, gay, twin, AROTC MSI, searching for money,
And I am ... me
