I am...me

I am….what?

Hmm what a thought

I am so distraught

I’ve lost almost all the fights I have fought

And I am

TIRED

I am sick and I am tired

I am tired and I am sick

I am sick of being sick

And I am tired of being tired

Please God, tell me...

Who I am!

I am

Blank

I am

Insert message here

I am

A generic introduction

I am

A number within billions of numbers

I am

A finite being within an everlasting lifetime

I am

MORE

I am

More than all the things I just stated

I am

More than just another human on this earth

I am

Camille Heath

Age 19

Blue eyes

Brown hair

Full of intricate dreams

I am

A daughter to a mother

A sister to a 22 year old

A girlfriend to the love of my life

A singer

A dreamer

A writer

A believer

I am

INFINITE

Like the stars in the sky

Like the depths of our oceans

Like the moon’s love for the sun

And life

My life is meaningful

I am meaningful

I am broken, yes

But like the bright bird unto ashes

I am reborn

I am not weak

I am not miserable

I am not going to give up

I am wonderful

I am lovable

I am powerful

I am

ME

So after this decree

Those who don’t like me

Really don’t know me

Will cease to berate me

Because I am

FREE

And I only do one thing

And that is to be me
