I am...not enough

I am...

not enough for myself

always wanting to better than who I am

"Your to hard on yourself" they say

but society sees it another way...

I am...

the girl that pushes herself to tears

just to please and tell them what they want to hear.

I am...

Someone who laughs

to conceal the stressed sighs.

Who runs

to escape the screams inside.

I am...

never good enough for them or I

at least not in societies eyes.
