I AM...STRONG

I am...Latina

I am... My father’s daughter

I am... A minority

I am... Young

I am... Curvy

These are labels but they do not define me..

I may be Latina but I am not ashamed, my culture molded me into the person who I am today.

I am my father’s daughter, but his death will not define me but I will carry his legacy.

I am a minority but I refuse to be treated as one.

I am young but I am not ignorant, I am wise and intelligent.

I am curvy, but refuse to let that lower me, I am confident.

I am... strong and unique and I will fulfill my dreams.

Nice. I challenge you to expand on the piece. Speak about the labels more in depth as to why they hold so much weight. Why do these images effect you? How do you know these labels and images do not define you?
