I Am…

I am an optimist who wants to see the world

I wonder what’s in store for me in the future

I hear about the cultures and lifestyles of indigenous peoples

I see the details that are easily missed by others

I want to become an inspiration to everyone

I am an optimist who wants to see the world

I pretend that my peers are not able to do evil

I feel as if I am capable of anything I put my mind to

I touch the hearts of the ones I care about

I worry that all the hard work I do won’t pay off

I cry when the innocent have to endure suffering and hardships

I am an optimist who wants to see the world

I understand that society is not as perfect as we want it to be

I say that our lives should be cherished and not taken advantage of

I dream about a day when nobody has to hear the words “you have cancer”

I try to be a kind and respectable human being

I hope to make friendships that last even more than a lifetime

I am an optimist who wants to see the world

I am my chemistry book thirsty for knowledge

I am an atlas waiting for the next unforgettable experience

I am the nuisance sitting next to you putting a smile on your face

I am a nomad with the inability to stay in one place

I am the phone call at three in the morning talking you through your tears

I am an optimist who wants to see the world
