I Ask Nothing of Her

I ask nothing of my love

But she holds my hand in hers

I'm afraid to say I need her to be there

Without me saying she stands beside me

Asks if I'm okay

I usually am when she's around

I find it hard to frown

When I know that smiling will make her happy

Yeah it sounds hella sappy

But that's what happens when your soulmate

The loveliest person you've ever met

Is also your best friend
