I believe
Until you found me,
I lived in a world devoid of color,
As if lifeless in living stupor,
Existing one day to the next.
Until, your Grace woke me,
I drifted on the sea of life,
Indifferent to the needs of my body,
Subsisting, one day to the next.
I was,
Oblivious, unknowing, uncaring.
Awakened, I saw this vision
The arcing rainbow after a storm; breathtaking
Your evening sky, such a work of magnificent execution
Your majestic conception of creation; awe-inspiring.
In the fragrant evening breeze
In the smile of an innocent child
In the haphazard flight of the bumble-bee
I see your handiwork everywhere.
Allowing me to appreciate this,
Feel it, experience it, see it,
I am in awe of your love.
Finally at peace, I bow to your infinite presence.
