I Believe I'll Succeed

I am young and willing to succeed

I came from poverty, i come from a family of low self esteem

i come from a neighborhood of crushed dreams

but im faithful and i believe ill succeed

i'll overcome the drugs and violence

and my enemies trying to defeat me

I have confidence and inspiration

I believe i will contribute great to this nation

im so excited that im so impatient

because ive been thinking

ever since i was a little girl

in my own world,

that i'll outlook the standards of society

and be better than average

i want to live with joy and no regrets

making a difference by being different

providing for my family
