Curtains closed Blackened stage Curtains opened Spotlights on He walks to the light Opens his mouth Speaks as a person he isn’t Committed to a character His face lights up He found something Something I had already found Passion Passion for the stage Not for applause Not for recognition Something much more You can be completely you While being completely not Truthful in fiction Where I belong
