I broke my rules for you

I broke my rules for you I don't regret any of it , but why do you start a fire when you don't want to feel the heat why did you make me feel like you liked me when you were here to play games I lowered my bar , because I thought you were different yes ,you said you were different , and acted different that I fell for your tricks and I let you in , and you treated me right for three weeks then you changed ,you no longer called neither did you receive my calls late replies , leaving me on read doing everything that hurt me , and you didn't care anymore and talks of me being the bad guy and you can't stand me that I should find a better man ,, okay,so I sticked to you hoping the man I first met would come back the man I loved ,the man who made me this crazy in love and you continued with the disrespect and served me more disrespect on my plate until I couldn't take anymore until I chose myself , and decided to forget about the man I thought you were and I left ,hurt and broken feeling worthless and stupid but I still cherish the days when we went out the days you made me happy ,,but it's all gone now I have myself now ,, thankyou for making me realize that it's me first before the world
