I came into this world

I came into this world formless
Surrounded by petrified consciousness
Invisible signals surveyed the terrain
Relaying precious messages which formed my brain
I formed in the shape of a naked ape
And found solace in love, the golden escape
With water & Earth as my teacher & guide
I found the place which many denied
I learned those lessons, I paid many dues
And I've bent on my knees & worshipped in pews
What remains strongest is silence & faith
Which progresses mankind to the pearly gates
Humility & prudence are virtues divine
They straighten out tangles & cure the spine
Passion & conviction are acts of the soul
Whose measures proclaim a more sacred goal
Mercy & grace both naturally derive
From a person aligned with nature's drive
