I cannot live without family

The seed germinated under viva Mexico, and traditional white American

values.   Two years past, parasites split

the tree.  The seed favored the American who held

hatred towards the mom.  The mom set up the seed for success

with food, education, and a home.  The seed grew into a boy

who loved both parents.  Separate families. Separate lives; however

normal to the boy.  Then two more parents came with two more families

to share.  The boy was showered with love and support.

Teenager.  New thoughts, new discoveries, defiance, and self-exploration.

The cloud of expectations and inhuman qualities the parents held

now dissipated from the boy.  New perspective on parents changes relationships

and the realization that parents are not forever.

Throughout the years, the boy experiences love and support

with failures and accomplishments.  Now off to college, the parent

cannot let go; however the love and support cultured in the boy will never

be forgotten.  People come and go, but the boy’s family will always be there.
