I Can't Communicate

I can't communicate

The words I need to tell

The emotions that boil and swell

I can't communicate

My needs, wants, desires

They burn inside me like a fire

Itching to be free

I can't communicate

How important poetry is to me

It has become a way

For me to explain

It has set me free from

These things that I can't communicate

Now I can tell you how I feel

I can tell you my wants, my needs

Finally I can be content

Not afraid to be me.
