i can't live without...

If I was on an island

With nothing but sea

All I would want

would be a memory

of my family.

My wonderful dad,

who works to support,

who can make you laugh and smile

and won't leave you out of sorts

My beautiful mom,

who knows more than i ever will,

who has a heart full of kindness,

and for her, mine is filled

and my sister, my funny sister

only 8 years of age

but even now, I see so much in her

you can't keep her caged

yes, if i was on an island

and if i were to decay

as long as my family's in mind

i think i'd be ok.
