I Can't Live Without Living

War Some say war never changes, Many say war has changed, Turn page after page after page, War cannot be explained. Why do we humans want to bicker and cist why do we humans struggle to exist On an island I would scavenge and take and procure, I'd have a knife and gun and a fire. The one thing I'd thank Him for, Is the lack of lackluster. I have the burning of flesh and gnashing of teeth, To greet me in the hell of the wastes. I have plenty of the fruit of the tree And water of the stream. One thing I couldn't do without Is the struggle of a god forsaken place. I'd trade the mountains of the buddhists, And the beaches of the Bahamas, For a day of fighting for my life. For no matter how many times I wish this life wasn't mine, And that all my problems were left in the dust, A constant antagonist is simply a must.
