I Can't Live Without Trials.

Haikus

Inside, there is war.

The heart and mind, They quarrel.

Like kindred beings.

Fell between the cracks.

Shortcomings, All too common.

Yet, rises from ash.

Enduring Trials,

Has become the Fount of Growth.

A Necessity.

A Flame that burns bright

and consumes all Doubt and Fear

surely, Thrives within.

Make every Effort.

Victory is never won,

Till Agony is.

Reflection

In these haikus

I tried to capture the essence of what it feels like to endure trials

Trials will often test your might

your will

and in some cases have you question if what you thrive for is worth the agony

It’s how character is developed

how ambitions are won

and how integrity is formed

Without trials there would be no victories

and without victories there would be no progress.

I can't live without trials.

This was never an easy walk.
Just look at the scars of my heart, and they will talk.
They'll show you my countless faults.
My countless falls.
