I Can't Sleep

I can't sleep

I think, God is trying to tell me something

I said, I can't sleep!

I think, the Lord is trying to tell me something

Well, Father here I am

Waiting for your caring words of love and conviction

Because I know it's something about my sinning

And since I'm speaking to you publicly, dare I mention publicly

All of the crimes I have committed

Against your commandments, sons, and daughters

Having killed them emotionally

Left them lonely and cold

Shivering and heartbroken

From the lies I have told just to get my way

I can't sleep

So Lord, speak
