I can’t let

I can’t let go.

Every time I’m ready to move on, he pulls me back.

A Venus Fly Trap is what you are; always luring and tempting.

But whenever I fall for it, you rob me of everything and dispose the remains.

Why can’t I follow my instinct and stay away?

The leftover fragments of my logic deteriorate the moment a sweet word utters from your lips.

Please give me the strength to break the cycle next time.
