I Compromise at Mediocrity

Words rampart my head, meaning unheard. dare I jot?

“jot, oh do,” whispers king educator. “if one should use,

one should use correctly” one to lead, one to follow:

Truth. n. 1. tw is is and tw is not is not

               2. unknown blur of a buzzword

“good,” cry king, “again”

though needles prick arms, I write again:

Friendship. n. 1. the reason I stand here today

                       2. inability of solitude

WORRY sprouts. faces peering over windowsill. blinding.

Unimaginable TERROR. Light, Crash, Epilepsy. Bleeding arthritis into right brain.

“good,” cry king, “again”

How can I again when I cannot see?

“AGAINAGAINAGAINAGAINAGAINAGA-”

“…okay”

Father. n. 1. guidance and active involvement.

                            2. teaching poorly, leading wickedly, fleeing cowardly

Where is the page? Where is heaven? Where are my hands? Where is anything but

WORRY and TERROR?

I do not see Heaven or Love.

My dear sweet child, you are not blinded,

                                                                                                only overstimulated.

So speaks the mumbling trash, crying and vying for

Attention

Carry on please.
