I could not live without them

The elegance and permenance is not what makes it memorable

it is the image of each of you

strung out on a clothesline

with one throwing their had back in hysterics

and one staring blankly but never sorrowfully.

Life moves exceptionally too fast

and moments are captured

at the flicker of a light

and burn out like a match

in the cold wind.

This life is meant to be brief.

So I am basking the rays of sunlight

that leak from your fingertips

and I am soaking

in the smell of seratonin

and the fragrance of

the dopamine

coursing through our veins

because happiness

is a Friday night

with no responsabilities.

The gentle hum

of everyone's energy

in a poorly lit room

with a table

littered in beer cans

and card games.

The boisterous laughter

that rang like church bells

on a Sunday afternoon

made me wish

I believed in a god

and despite the fact

that we are all

catalysts to disaster

we

are

happy.
