I Could Show You

I could show you,
but you still would not understand.
I could open up my mind to you,
but your conclusion would still
vary from the truth.
There is no simple
explaination for what
I have become.
I am not this happy person,
the one that you have come
to know.
You have not seen her lately
because I am slowly killing her
as I venture deeper into the
valley of the unknown.
Where the people who
have already lost the game
continue to play.
