I could write a poem (English version)

I could write a poem about the arch of your nose

about your sense of humor

how I'm best with you

how I care for you so recklessly

I should be smart

but how can I

when you look to me like that

like you’re confused that I’m not being truthful

like your eyes are a telescope

but she is the stars

I could write a poem about your smile

with your tongue between your teeth

like you know I couldn’t be happier

because I don’t know if I can

I could write a poem to tell you

but I won’t
